Board Member-Fundraising Chair

The world's first nonprofit wedding wish granting organization, dedicated to producing weddings and civil union ceremonies for terminally ill individuals at destinations around the globe.

As Fundraising Chair, I am responsible for leading the board in efforts that attract money and services needed to carry out the mission WUP.

My duties and responsiblities incude:

•Generate $50,000 revenue
•Planning, coordinating, and implementing all fundraising activities for the WUP St. Louis Chapter
•Review funding plan to ensure progress toward annual and long-range funding goals
•Identify and recruit community leaders to serve with board members on fundraising committees
•Educate board members on the techniques of planned giving, marketing, soliciting corporations sponsorships and individuals donations
•Closely work with board members to identify and solicit funds from external sources for support


Enterprise Rent-A-Car


Oversaw a wide variety of administrative functions, supporting all director-level projects and information-management processes, compiled and analyzed data from monthly reports to prepare directors’ presentations to executive and middle management, and developed internal correspondence that facilitated effective communication and transfer of information between all 7000 offices in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland and Germany.

Solicited new business for pilot small business program. Personally managed account calls, presentations and negotiations, meeting monthly target goal of 15 new accounts and conducted outreach to renew thousands of existing accounts, which helped the department to reach company’s goal of 10% increase of revenue
