Mortgage
Loan Officer
During this time I started with and before I could get a loan through the company closed. I won't mention the names of the companies because they never bothered to add my license to their business (which for smaller companies is common until the after the first loan has been processed) so I had no official affiliation. If I had not loved being a loan officer as much as I did I wouldn't have accepted the conditions I was encouraged to accept. I thought, as I was putting this together, that these gaps deserved an explanation, which is I kept trying to be what I loved, and fit in to a position that really no longer exists, albeit you can still be a loan officer but you are no longer able to provide your clients with a tailored program to fit their individual needs, and the once hundreds of program choices are now down to just a few. Creativity, a head for numbers, a bold approach when dealing with the lender, the position that you are working for your client (for whom we had fiduciary responsibility)
