International Friends and Experiences

While living in Sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA, I learned so much about appreciating other cultures vastly different than my own. In 2009 I assisted an interfaith NGO with sexual and gender based violence prevention training in northern Uganda, and continued to Egypt for further research. That experience became the catalyst for my dedication to promoting understanding of the Middle East and North Africa.
