About Ray Velez & Melissa Lemberg, CTO & Senior VP, Client Partner, Razorfish
Ray Velez is Razorfish's Global Chief Technology Officer. He runs the technology organization for Razorfish company-wide, providing overall strategic direction internationally. His background includes senior architectural consulting in web and enterprise systems and architectures and strategic IT planning. Ray has applied his expertise on several of Razorfish’s largest implementations for clients and has trained and developed curriculums in various technologies and Agile methodologies. He also drives strategic technology partnerships and how they help drive Razorfish's client delivery.
Ray’s experience includes 15-plus years in technology, having served as a senior architectural consultant at Scient and Cambridge Technology Partners. His selected client list includes: Ford Motor Company, Mercedes-Benz, Intel, AT&T, and CondeNet among others. He is also the co-author of the recently published book, Converge: Transforming Business at the Intersection of Marketing and Technology.
As a Senior Vice President, Client Partner at Razorfish, Melissa is responsible for managing strategic client relationships partnering closely with clients to create and execute upon digital customer engagement strategies and ensuring the delicate balance between user needs and business requirements. Melissa has over 13 years of digital consulting experience specializing in online branding, positioning and communications and has led strategic online engagements for a number of notable brands including L’Oreal Paris, Neiman Marcus and Ford Motor Company. She began her consulting career in IT working for AMS, managing large-scale custom system implementations. From there, she turned her focus to the digital world working first at Razorfish New York, then Nurun and spent several years as an independent consulting assisting clients withdigital strategy, communications and website development. In 2008, she rejoined Razorfish in Atlanta and now manages the Delta Air Lines account as well as the growth and development of our Client Engagement Teams in our Atlanta, Austin and Chicago offices.
