About Eugenia Koo, Special Projects at DramaFever & Former Associate at RRE Ventures
Until recently, Eugenia Koo was an associate at RRE Ventures, where she focused on sourcing attractive investment opportunities and actively supporting the firm's 100+ startups. She worked closely as "second chair" to one of the founding partners, and thusly served as board observer to eight of RRE's portfolio companies, such as Quirky, GetGlue, and Noom.
Also during her time there, she became smitten with the vision and execution of the DramaFever team, where she is currently Director of Special Projects. DramaFever is an online network for curated international serial TV titles, allowing cross-border consumption for anyone in the world.
Prior to joining RRE, Eugenia was a journalist for The Next Web, covering East Coast startup headlines and activity. Eugenia began her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she advised financial institutions clients on debt and preferred equity capital markets. Following BofAML, Eugenia joined kbs+ Ventures, a seed stage investor in the advertising and marketing technology sector.
Moreover, Eugenia is co-founder of Hack’n Jill, where she assembles over 1,000 makers behind a vision for greater gender diversity in engineering. She additionally organizes networking events for the female investment community and further promotes it through NYVC Women.
