About Catherine Porter, Vice President of International, OpenTable
Catherine Porter is the Vice President of International at OpenTable where she directs international strategy, optimization, and expansion for the company. Prior to OpenTable, Catherine launched and led LinkedIn’s Japan market entry and directed several business development initiatives. As the first country manager for LinkedIn in Japan, Catherine was responsible for structuring the market’s business case for investment, partnering with product for launch of the service in Japan, and hiring, managing, and leading strategy for the first team on the ground. Catherine has nearly 15 years of experience in tech, based out of San Francisco, and with extensive business development and marketing experience in Japan, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Catherine is originally from Kentucky and holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Virginia.
