Manage all content ingestion from Food Network Magazine onto FoodNetwork.com. Steer relationship and content flow between the print and online teams, including ingesting recipes and photos as part of the digital publishing process. Work to creatively integrate content into sold advertiser packages, totaling more than 10 million unique page views each month. Maintain internal partnerships with marketing and public relations teams to promote magazine content/subscription offers via newsletters, social media and other channels, reaching 3.7 million readers. Founded the University of Florida’s Her Campus branch with a staff of 20 writers and editors. Responsible for producing weekly web content in five categories. Edited stories and helped writers come up with fresh, relevant angles. Uploaded all stories and photos to the hercampus.com site using a CMS. Planned events on the University of Florida campus and used social media to start a grassroots following. Leader in building partnerships with local businesses and throughout the community.
Produced all text and artwork for more than 25 slideshows for More.com, one of which received 180,000 pageviews in one day on Digg.com, another was featured by Yahoo! Shine; wrote stories for More.com related to careers, health and sex; helped with food testing; transcribed multiple interviews; coordinated with book publishers for magazine reviews and the holiday guide; fact checked stories in various issues; worked closely with the health, business, second acts, passions and books editors.

Wrote an in-depth 1,500 word piece on media’s influence on young adolescent girls body image and interactions in France in comparison to America; responsible for conducting all background research and interviews in Paris and America; took photos to accompany the story; worked closely with the Paris Research Center and another team member; demonstrated leadership skills and ability to adapt to new situations.
