Pediatric Cancer Foundation

Marketing & Special Events

The Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer. My responsibilities included assisting with five different events in:

• Logistical planning of fall events with pre- and post-event follow up
• Work with staff to collect and solicit in-kind donations
• Implementation of marketing strategies and office work
• Attend committee meetings and assist in writing post-meeting updates
• Write event letters and create supplemental event materials
• Research charitable programs of major local corporations and organization programs, where they match donations made by their employees.


Rama Business Solutions


Rama Merchants is a Florida-based importer of fine wines and olive oil. The company represents fine vineyards from around the world interested in bringing only the best products to their customers. As an intern there my responsibilities were to:

• Assist in the creation of an Integrated Marketing Communication plan
• Conduct research and manage client relationships
• Work in a team environment, assuming leadership when necessary to be as efficient/effective as possible
