As a hostess/cashier at the Avi's finest dining restaurant I operated the floor plan for the servers and made sure all customers were sat in an efficient and timely matter. When the servers were finished with their tables I would go by the tables with the check for their dining experience and would manage the cash register and bring the customers back there receipt. If the servers would get behind on their tables I would do my best to help them to insure the customers were getting the full dining experience by cleaning any unoccupied tables to free up the servers so they could tend to their station. Also, I would make sure to clean the menus and make sure the front of the restaurant was presentable, just like a medical facility, customers are pleased with a clean and well kept area when they arrive.
