"I know you as a strong activist with a magical pen. Initially I was not much sure about your nature of work. I liked " The Wall Will Fall" as a friend mentioned it and highly praised it. However, now I don't miss a single article and I am hooked onto it. I really admire you and your work. I want to thank you for writing ar...
The Sir Harold Beeley Trust (http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/2001/jul/31/guardianobituaries) aims to raise money through subsidiary fund raising activity and charity establishment for the Palestinian cause . Our first project is the Hamid Abu Dagga project in memory of Hamid who was killed by IOF forces while playing football outside his own house close to the borders in Abassan, Khan Younis, Gaza Strip. We will be raising funds to build a much needed Sports and Cultural Centre in the Khan Younis area and connecting with schools and Universities across Europe to establish links between children of Hamid's age and their Gazan counterparts. The response from children has been inspiring and very touching.
After several trips to Gaza, I launched the Facebook page, The Wall Will Fall to publish my photographs and articles on life in the Gaza strip. The idea behind the page and The Wall Will Fall was to raise awareness but also to convey the idea that through education, awareness and the development of our own conscience we can bring down all walls that keep us in ignorance and far from the Truth. The popularity of the page grew exponentially and myself and other contributors are often asked to participate in televised debates on the situation in Palestine and the Middle East.
This project is ongoing.
Middle East, focused on Egypt and Gaza, Palestine, Syria, Yemen, Iraq & Iran:
I have been a regular interviewee on various TV Channels discussing and debating the Middle East in particular the Palestinian Cause and Israeli Apartheid.
This video is of a Conference in Paris in July during the latest Israeli Offensive in the Gaza Strip. Present at the Conference were: Marion Sigaut, Jacob Cohen, Laurent Louis and Dieudonne, & myself. I was asked to speak and to shed light on the Humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

An initiative I launched in June 2013. The idea was to connect students in Gaza with English and French teachers across the world, to organise skype lessons to help the students with their IELET exams and English comprehension. It was an idea designed to break down the physical barriers between Gaza and the outside world and it has been very successful in putting the Gaza students in touch with people across the globe who can help with their language skills but who also benefit from a better understanding of the conditions in Occupied Palestine
Talking to Zero Waste Mena about the need for a PET recycling operation in various areas of the Middle East. Currently all PET waste goes directly to Landfill or is baled as scrap and sold directly to China. The project would establish small wash and recycling plants to recover all mineral bottle PET waste from the 300+ holiday resorts in Hurghada, convert to flake and sell back to the bottle manufacturers. This creates a closed loop recycling operation and would provide employment for local Egyptians during this difficult economic transition period in Egypt. If successful in Egypt, the concept would work in other regions and countries across the Middle East.
