Studying and working in London was unforgettable experience. I went all the way up from the sales adviser to a department manager. Learned business models of River Island and Benetton (worked for the flagship store on Oxford Circus). Seeing how retail giants work and undertsandong the principles of fashion retail business made my career choice.

Based in Istanbul. Reporting to COO SMYK.
Working as part of the senior management I was involved in all areas of commercial activity. Responsible for 8 stores in Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa. The main focus was maximising LFL sales growth, by driving sales performance; old stock reduction and exploiting business opportunities.

Training new Operations Manager by passing the know-hows and implementing SOP was an important part of the assignment. During my short stay as the Head of Operations Turkey I rolled out layout projects for maximizing Sales/m2; implemented Operating Procedures; improved stock management by reducing Weeks Cover on old collections, and set up robust communication channels between the HQ teams to maximise the use of resources available to the business.
Achievements:
1. Sales uplift by 4,5% on LFL stores
2. Old collection stock reduced by 40%

I joined ZARA after a gap year in Ukraine where i was trying to get into IT outsourcing business to re-establish myself in mainstream speed fashion retailing. Working for ZARA in the prime GUM location in Moscow I managed a long established Menswear business, responsible for all aspects of their retail operation, store personnel, range planning and product selection. I also controlled the marketing and promotional calendar, developing sales in a unique marketplace. Later I was part of the opening team who were to establish the 1st Zara store in Kiev, Ukraine.

This was a gap year between my retail UK experience and forthcoming Moscow assignment.
Ciklum, back then the 3rd largest IT Outsourcing company in Ukraine. Reporting to the board I was responsible for international sales in 5 EU countires (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Finland) and $multi million sales of IT outsourcing services. I led the deaprtment as a commercial business focussing all activity on meeting customer needs and achieving sales results whilst planning and developing for the future. I worked closely with all Head office functions to maximise inetrantional sales, at the same time establishing local sales team. Additionaly was responsible for
liasing with call-center in Mexico.
