Freshers Outreach Officer

Organised and managed weekly events for the largest student society in Europe, facilitated sponsors and ensured weekly attendance of over 250 freshman students.
Freshers Outreach Officer is about ensuring our target market stayed engaged, making sure their their training and development were enhanced, establishing a welcoming environment within the society.
This role also meant working on the Committee of the L&H which meant increasing interest in the society and events, facilitating high profile events and attending society events three times a week.
We also initiated teaching debating to secondary school children once a week which included organising competitions.
I was highly committed to assuring high attendance at our tri weekly events.
Last year I was awarded the L&H medal for judging, based on my progression to a number of finals representing the society across Ireland.
European Youth Parliament Ireland
National Committee Member

On the National Committee of the European Youth Parliament (EYP), we oversee the day to day running of the Irish branch of the international organisation, set long term goals and work towards fulling them. I am involved in committee meetings, projects within the committee. I have to schedule meetings.
Staying engaged and up to date on international polices from the Board of National Committees and the international community of EYP. I chair committee topics at conferences and assist in organising outreach events.
My main contribution to the group is that I have experience during the three years previously I had actively facilitated five conferences, two national and three regional, I have been in every position the organisation from chairing topics to editing the media and for this reason I am adept at problem solving.
