Center Manager

Responsible for the overall delivery of adult jobseeker related services and Workforce Development Center operations, including:

Oversee and assume responsibility for daily operations of the workforce development center; Supervise delivery of intensive services; Manage workload, coordinate scheduling and responsibilities of Career Consultant staff; Oversee usage of the Maryland Workforce Exchange data/case management system; Analyze statistical data reports to discern service delivery trends; Adjust processes and implement as needed; Participate in the pre-screening, interviewing, and selection of prospective new hires; Navigate relationships with workforce partners to facilitate collaboration of services delivery and resource sharing systems; Conduct performance evaluations. Provide coaching to encourage staff growth and outstanding performance; Attend Operations Meetings as scheduled by the Manager of Operations. Prepare center update reports to present during meeting; Manage office budget and submit monthly procurement report to the Manager of Administration; Coordinate with the Bus. Develop. team to host employer recruitment activities; Represent agency at meetings and conferences; Develop training plans for new employees; Monitor individual staff performance goals and provide support and guidance toward achievement; Perform various human resources / payroll functions as requested; Handle all facility management issues as related to upkeep and maintenance of the workforce development center; Ensure that staff adheres to Baltimore County Government Human Resources guidelines and policies; Monitor customer and staff office equipment systems; Conduct monthly staff meetings; Provide information and updates to all workforce units that resides within center; Perform other duties as designated by the Manager of Operations to ensure flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.
