Through hands-on workshops, integrate Apple products into curriculum and overall student environment for a richer learning — and teaching — experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Scaffold higher-level teaching methods using Apple products to teach how technology can be integrated within K-12 curriculum within 24 different Pittsburgh Public schools and Chicago Public Schools. Coach and mentor teachers as they adapt lessons to utilize iPads for classroom instruction/management, data collection and differentiated instruction. Scaffold workshop training to a team of vanguard teachers and mentor them as they re-train the workshops. Collaborate with leadership and curriculum personnel to develop an effective plan and curriculum across multiple content areas distributed as custom iBooks and iTunes U courses. Utilize knowledge and understanding of instructional design process for both classroom based, online and virtual training environments by scaffolding ways teachers can flip their classroom using LMS digital platforms to promote parent engagement, teacher efficacy and student success. Work collaboratively with district to establish growth and professional learning communities within district using social media.
