Sr Product Manager at Mandiant
Drove product development efforts for Wholesale Dial and Global Dial services including RADIUS and Directory enhancements, network capacity expansion, geographic expansion, infrastructure enhancements, and back office systems modifications.
Responsible for matrix management of supply organizations (both internal and external), presentation of business cases, and project management of development and implementation. Lifecycle management included business analysis, tracking of revenue and costs, and providing expertise to sales channels. Provided technical expertise for Frame Relay and ATM product enhancements.
Developed Global ATM Product Plan for 2001 - 2003. Developed and presented business cases for various product enhancements. This included new product features such as FR/ATM and automation of existing processes. Responsible for profit/loss and forecasting of Global ATM sales. Provided training on product enhancements to Field Sales. Developed/updated collateral such as product overviews, boilerplate information and customer presentations for Sales' use. Developed service level agreements, produced customer proposals and marketing announcements.
Product Manager for Managed Security Services. Primarily focused on Log Collection/Management, but served as Product Manager for Security Monitoring and Security Management at various times
Led effort to develop Industry first MPLS standard End to End SLAs. Manage network growth and augmentation. Responsible for creating and enhancing all SLAs for Data Network Services. Created automated tool for Sales Engineers to provide End-to-End SLAs to customers. Responsible for negotiating SLAs with network partners. Manage peering relationships – support of existing as well as driving new peering opportunities and identifying and filling gaps in Sprint IP network connectivity. Responsible for increasing network connectivity through peering and strategic bandwidth purchases. Leading product management efforts on CoS development – network functionality and inclusion in SLAs. Responsible for product development efforts for IPv6 product offering. Manage vendor relationships for SLA validation tools.
Product Management responsibility for hardware and software providing IP test and diagnostic capability to include data/VPN, VoIP, and video over IP (previously responsible for private line test and access products). Member of team responsible for $52 million in revenue in 2004
