-Managed three businesses, 22 national and international employees and over $700,000 in annual revenue. The three businesses included a volunteer program of 1,200 annual clients and 52 development projects, a TEFL certification course with 100 annual clients and a Spanish school with 620 annual clients, two staff run volunteer houses and 35 homestay families comprising over 300 beds.
-Raised client feedback from 65% excellent to over 95% excellent within seven months. Team earned a bonus for the first time in a year and then advanced to earn monthly bonuses based on client service feedback and matriculation goals.
-Designed a cloud-based homestay and project booking system using Google Docs that automatically calculates accounts payable and implemented the system in the Peru, Costa Rica and Guatemala offices. The system saves 10 work hours monthly for all three Maximo Nivel locations and dramatically improved accuracy and accounts payable forecasts.
-Motivated volunteers to raise funds for projects that contributed $43,000 in the first year. The program has been incorporated into the company’s operations plan and has been implemented in all Maximo Nivel offices.
-Raised $7,000 and contracted local doctors to perform medical histories, parasite analysis, blood analysis, dental examinations and physical examinations for 102 local orphans, diagnosing all children with parasites. I initiated a second round of funding resulting in hygiene education, installation of 10 water filters, soap dispensers, medical treatment and a fund for ongoing needs in three orphanages.
