Provide customer service and assistance to the Human Resources staff as well as applicants interested in employment. Establish and maintain contact with incoming personnel and participate in the in-processing of new employees and out-processing of departing employees, and providing general assistance and information. Employment reference checks, run DMV records and scan fingerprints (LiveScan). Update and query internal and external advertisement postings, and provide managers and specialists with various reports to include weekly pending listings and statistical data. Receive and review incoming correspondence, directives, regulations, instructions, publications, and other written materials. Prepare various inter-agency reports, process confidential employee related data into HRIS. Conducts all department filing which contains employment, criminal and medical records ensuring confidentiality. Run reports for Office of Inspector General (O.I.G.) and System for Award Management (S.A.M.) on a monthly basis. Keep abreast of current requirements and developments related to day-to-day administrative operations in such areas as personnel actions, pay issues, time and attendance and other related personnel administrative areas. Responsible for ordering office supplies and processing all office requisitions.
