Human Resources Administrator

Morris Corporation is a 100% Australian Owned company that has more than 45 years' experience in providing quality catering, cleaning, accommodation and facilities management solutions to mining and construction villages in remote communities.

My role as a Human Resources Administrator for the Western Seaboard involves supporting the large Perth and Site based customer groups for general HR queries on issues including leave, contracts, recruitments and inductions to name a few.

A majority of my role revolves around drafting and issuing employment contracts for all new hires and internal transfers, including probation letters, termination letters and employment verification letters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assisting with completing the on-boarding process for new starters
- Creating new starters in the Morris Online Learning Management Systems and assigning all mandatory inductions
- Assisting with creating, developing and implementation of HR related policies and procedures
- Managing Employee Exit Documents for resignations and contract terminations
- Liaising with Department Managers to ensure all Employees complete their training and inductions to satisfy company's compliance requirements
- Assisting with the mobilisation of new sites by working closely with the Recruitment Advisors to contribute to a successful site opening
- Managing probation reports and probation periods for all employees, including confirmations of completion and extensions
- Assisting with the recruitment and selection process through phone screening and reference checking to establish their suitability for phone interviews and employment
- Booking medicals and pre-employment training
- Creating and advertising new vacancies on Seek and the Morris Careers website
- Processing and authorising invoices for PPE, Training and Medicals, including cost allocations to the correct Morris sites
