Kitchen Chicks Catering

Bartender/Server

As an employee for the Kitchen Chicks we work several weddings and high class functions in a calendar year, so being a professional at all times is mandatory. While I am bartending responsible beverage service is a top priority as well as positive guest interaction. Another facet of our job is the setting up and taking down the bar and other set ups for the event. We arrive a couple of hours ahead of time to ensure the event goes as planned. Time management and teamwork are crucial for us to succeed.

The Ground Round

General Manager

I was a late bloomer in the bar/restaurant industry and I tried to make up for lost time by starting as a dishwasher and within four years being named General Manager. As a GM I was responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant and training and maintaining my staff. I also maintained the stores bottom line so the owners made money. The best part of being a GM was promoting and creating a strong management team who were results driven. I firmly believe that if you surround yourself with like minded people it's almost impossible to fail.

Usher/Manger

My first job. I have always loved movies so this was appropriate for me. I started out as an usher, did that for several years and then I wanted to learn more .Was trained at the concession stand and shortly after that I began selling tickets and I started to thrive. I then learned to work in the projection room and yet I wanted more. I was then promoted to an assistant manger position and the sky was the limit.
