Responsible for maintenance, additional customization, and the reporting tools for the agreement module of the existing division database housing up-to-date and accurate data, including but not limited to, all valuable and pertinent information of license agreement contractual obligations, royalty payments, terms, and milestones.
Responsible for interpreting license agreements, with input from appropriate licensing managers, to extract the necessary data for entry into the database, permitting optimal monitoring of the licensed agreements that are the foundation for commercializing the technologies disclosed to the TTO.
Responsible for accurate monitoring, which is required for successful commercialization of technologies disclosed to the TTO. Enters new file information into the database, sets up paper files, and works with management in academic units system-wide, including Provost's Office and USF Health leadership, USF affiliates, and public and private organization representatives.
Contributes to the process of learning, assisting and suggesting revisions regarding databases to persistently optimize their use, resulting in valuable reports extracted from the database to assist TTO colleagues in monitoring the license agreements.
Responsible for working with department leadership in regards to reporting requirements to assist with the strategic analysis of technology transfer related data, compilation, and presentation of TTO and University data regarding intellectual property protection, revenue, activities, products, etc. using independent judgment. Develops/produces additional reports and handles related reporting technology transfer activities and projects, as needed.
Compiles, drafts, and edits royalty, quarterly license fee, and other non-dollar reminder letters to licensees, as well as default and termination letters, in addition to miscellaneous correspondence.
Supervises student assistant responsible for file set up and maintenance.
