Product lead on AIM desktop clients. Our goal was to relaunch and revitalize the AIM consumer experience and community. We shifted technologies to an HTML based system that allowed for rapid development on both desktop and web platforms. In addition, I focused on a grab bag of special projects involving a variety of groups internal and external: Business Development, Business Insight and Analytics, Monetization, Sales, Business Operations and a variety of Legal related functions.
I joined Zimride to build a scalable (in terms of personnel, time AND cost) solution for helping our clients quickly gain usage of the new Zimride carpooling communities. Built out program of marketing and account management that grew communities at 50+ clients. My responsibilities included managing networks of student reps and on campus outreach groups, working directly, sometimes in person, with our partner liaisons on each campus and guiding them through the process I established that took them from point of sale to a successful carpooling solution for their communities.
As an undergraduate, I was a member of the student team that worked to bring a permanent pub and event space to campus. After graduation, I spent one year as Events and Operations Manager overseeing event planning and promotion, marketing initiatives and strategy, supervision of student managers and hiring practices, business hours operations control and oversight of Human Resources.
CarePlace.com was focused on creating an online community where individuals with rare diseases and conditions and their caregivers could convene to find support, advice and a caring online community.
