Research Agenda
Exploring the intersection between sexuality and media. Current research projects focus on NFL players, Twitter, and the domestic violence cases of Ray Rice and Jovan Belcher; anti-sexual assault messaging aimed at college students; TV's portrayal of partner/family reaction to rape; and anti-pornography social media campaigns.

Summer 2014: Transcribed interviews with photojournalists about transparency in the Obama administration and coded the 2014 Senate candidates' Twitter profiles (assisted Dr. Nicole Dahmen)
Fall 2014: Studying the framing of gender in ebola coverage (assisting Dr. Pat Curtin)
