Design and implement programming for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the premier professional exchange program developed by the U.S. State Department for current and emerging international leaders, and the Professional Fellows Program (PFP). Key programming themes center around global health, women’s rights, energy security and environmental affairs, international trade, support for immigrants and refugees, LGBTQ resources, entrepreneurship, and strengthening disability resources.
•Research and write proposals for upcoming programs based on U.S. State Department themes and objectives.
•Synthesize programming priorities with National Programming Agency (NPA) partners in Washington, D.C. to develop program content for approximately 35 - 40 IVLP projects per year. WAC-Seattle IVLPs resulted in a $2.7 million economic impact for Washington State in FY15.
•Edit and maintain accurate IVP reports in the World Affairs Council's Salesforce CRM and U.S. State Department's ORDIV databases.
•Coordinate logistics, content, and budgets for multiple projects per month with competing deadlines and expectations from the proposal phase through project completion.
•Closely monitor programming process and compile evaluation reports once programming has concluded.
•Establish and maintain professional relationships with over 75 public and private sector organizations and resources.
•Supervise individualized internships for 1-2 interns per quarter.
