Speak Your Piece Inc. (SYP Inc.) was created by Taylor Aldridge and Ashley Maltbia to provide a platform for young people to unify under the guise of financial progression, entrepreneurial aptitude, and a deep need to think outside of the traditional paradigm as the world becomes increasingly interconnected.

The mission of Speak Your Piece Inc. (SYP Inc.) is to act as an aid and guide for young people during their matriculation into entrepreneurial success; through exposure to the arts, financial education & empowerment, and encouraging awareness of the world around them.
SYP catalyzes change by providing promising, diverse, young individuals with the support and guidance necessary to achieve a sustainable entrepreneurial mind and career. SYP serves as a platform for current moguls and influentials to exchange and make an impact with the next generation by assisting young people through their entrepreneurial journeys respectively.

Goldman Sachs Junior Fellow, National Museum of American History

Spearheaded the Today in Jazz History research project and launched the Today in Jazz History mobile and web application on the National Museum of American History-Jazz website. Conducted the necessary research on American Jazz history to supplement the content for the Today in Jazz History application. Managed a range of documents permitting all NMAH website visitors online access to the Smithsonian’s musical collection, consisting of over 16,000 artifacts.Conducted research on musicology, cultural awareness and the tolerance through music. Managed records in the NMAH’s Musical Collection database of over 6,000 artifacts.
