Crochet Pattern Designer

I use yarn and a hook to make something if yarn isn't attractive enough (love yarn!). I want my designs to be original and inspire you to run for your hooks....or go buy a hook. And did you know...Chuck Norris crochets....probably.

Crochet + Photography

I am a self taught crocheter and photographer. Over the past 8 years, I've learned everything I could about crocheting, crochet history, crochet pattern writing (including good formatting), yarn, and how to take good product photos. Photography is one of my favorite aspects of what I do (besides buying yarn).

I've had to learn about marketing and how to create a fun and engaging online presence. The social aspect of what I do....blogging, facebook, and instagram is really fun. I believe that it's best to just be yourself, be generous, be fun, have good visuals and you'll have gold.

I would someday love to go back to school and get an art/design degree but until then, I will keep learning and being all that I can be.

There are few things more rewarding than getting to share your passion or interests with the world.

My Inspiration

Inspiration can come from anywhere: A color pallet, a need (like a warm hat in the winter), current trends, an interesting texture, the season, a movie, a few minutes of people watching (one of my favorite pass-times). I am constantly inspired by my life and the things that I see.

Entrepreneurship Advice

One of my favorite compliments that I get every so often is, "I saw your design and I loved it so much that it inspired me to learn how to crochet." So if I was to give advice to someone that had something to share, it would be to do it! Be you, be unique, provide a great service/product and go for it!
