Has made a big reorganization in NUKISSIORFIIT, with a 25%reduction of the number of employees in the main administration. At the same time boosting the company's overall efficiency with internal efficiency projects. In additional to this ordered 3 new hydro power projects, and other minor development projects in the production and destribution.
Changed many of the internal procedures and policies to support the overall goal on efficiency and customer service. The company had in 2009 a turnover on 709 mio. DKK (in 2008 669 mio. DKK).
Since 2006 we have focused on pushing the boundaries for the company´s sustainable energyproduction from 40% based on hydro, of the total energy produced, to 60% in 2010, and it will be 70% in 2013.
Greenland Development is the Greenland Self Rule project company servicing the Self Rule Government with the project development, on the Alcoa Aluminum Project.
Has been a key figure in the turn around of the company started in 2000, with the result of positive and growing revenues in the consecutive years after. In the first year alone we turned the result from a deficit on 30 mio. DKK to a surplus on 30 mio. DKK. As an example negotiated a zero-result on all collective agreements in their first year in the collective bargains. Has made several internal reorganization projects to cut costs. Has been the chief liaison person to the Greenland Home Rule Government on a broad area, and responsible for the company's concessions, route permits, pension agreements and the aircraft- and other insurances. And responsible for the strategy on and handling of all legal matter. For example a major lawsuit, filed by the competitive authorities in Greenland, which was won by Air Greenland Inc. Has been the secretary for the board of directors and assistant to the CEO of the company.
Has been a central resource and coordinator in Air Greenlands Inc.´s rationalization in 2000, which resulted in 53 layoffs and a shift from 10 years deficit to historic positive turnovers and profits.
