Account Manager\ Accountant

Main Duties:
-Running and maintaining books for 4 small companies
-Compiling Management accounts for companies in the Saquila group- including Nottingham Road Gas Supplies
-Debtors control function in group including debt collection (using Sage Pastel Accounting software)
-Creditors control function in group in Pastel Accounting including EFT payments to creditors
- Daily payments by EFT up to a limit of 800K (SA Rand) per day
-Fixed Asset Register maintenance including depreciation
- Monthly VAT compilation, submission and payments (group)
- Maintaining Trial balance for external auditor for income tax purposes
- Bank reconciliations monthly (group)
- Maintainence of all company leases


-General administrative duties relating to my work in the group
-Maintaining archives and storage of relevant documents to the group
-Overseeing admin relating to Cash Control and Inventory Control of the companies
- Relevant company software updates when necessary
- Implement and monitor relevant systems in areas of the companies identified to be problematic
- Act on instruction and guidance of the director of the companies

Payroll function in the group using Sage Pastel Payroll
-Monthly payslips, maintaining leave accrual, overtime, increases for approval
-Monthly EMP201 Payroll taxes submission and payments
-Yearly EMP501 Payroll taxes submission
