Department: Project Planning and Support (Mix of AP & Project Management)
• Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other Managers
• Providing financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs
• Collecting, Entering and Maintenance of Contractual information in company’s tool.
• Forecasting and preparing budgets for the current projects based on Actuals.
• Update amendments related to various projects milestones associated with a Project.
• Compliance with the payment timelines as per the contractual terms.
• Validating invoices for more than 35 Countries including Asia Pac and Europe.
• Reassigning specific projected invoices to the concerned Project team members.
• Provide support in maintaining the vendor master data and related amendments
• Responsible and Point of contact from “Contracts” till “Payments”, Queries etc.
• Also works on Holds reports, Tracker cleanup and Assigning invoices to team que.
• Work closely with Project Leaders, Project Analysts, Operations Leaders, Functional Leads, Business and Project Support Function heads, for an effective and positive outcome of a project
• Assists Project Manager in their Project Planning, Decision Making process, timely forecasts and payments.
• Working independently and reliably showing a high level of ownership, with a strong focus on detail and committed to the Collection, qualitative data, validation, Budgeting, Costing and Funding, and analysis of the Project
• Well versed with Oracle R12 AP (Financials) module.

Project Controller

Understanding and resolving the issues with Project Financials.
Producing quality financial reports to Project Managers/Partners.
Perform Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis as per guidelines of US Counterparts
Budget reports, Forecast reports are provided by US Counterparts to plug-in the same in Project Financial model. After updating the model, it helps in providing the details for Forecasted vs. Budgeted vs. Actual.
Provide proposal support by completing Financial Models/Pricing Models based on Project Status (Write Up or Write Down), by checking the EAC
Updating the International and subcontractor employee’s time sheets with their hourly wage rate with expenses and updating the same in financial model.
Understanding Contract Negotiations/Pricing and implementing the same.
Perform Operational solutions/operational analysis and transferring the knowledge.
Communicates effectively to clients on Project status and executes changes, if any.
Perform various financial analysis such as Reconciliation, Expense Auditing, Monthly Billing and EAC.
Tracking the Project Scorecard for every financial model and check the Write up and Write down of the project for every Bi-Weekly and Period wise.
Track financial metrics such as Revenue, Expense etc.
Interact periodically with multiple Stake Holders/Project Partners to provide Reporting Templates on Financial Statements, various analysis reports, discuss recommendations and provide project financial advice.
Updating Financial Models by running queries through SAP BW-FI bi-weekly basis.
Updating Pricing Models through Contract “SOW” before setting up a financial model for a specified client.
Preparing Account Deck to specified clients for every period.
Preparation of bi-weekly reports for Expenses, Receivables and Profitability Reports.
Expense Audit analysis for individual Client’s Projects done every bi-weekly.
Updating SOP’s as per business standards and requirements.



Executive - Financial Analyst

Processing Telecommunication Invoices for Critical/Major Vendors in US
Validating and Coding the Invoices for payment
Finding the reasons for variances and closing them within TAT of 3 business days.
Preparing of Invoice payments and sending them to QC Team on the same day.
In-depth analysis of Contract Pricing, Vendor Billing, New Accounts, Interest Rate etc.
Accounts with no inventory would be routed to the Sourcing Team
Follow-up communication with Vendors requesting invoices on timely basis without any delay
Ensure payment deadlines are met, particularly with Time-sensitive invoices to ignore disruptions/disconnection in services and Escalations
Entry of invoices with code numbers in SAP FI And park them in Liability GL
Define payment method for each vendor depends on their request.
Negotiate with vendor to convert existing payment method to EFT.
Assign default GL account, payment terms, bank accounts and currency.
Participate in AR Calls with Vendors/Telecom Heads for pending payments/New requests etc.
Placing calls to vendors on weekly/Bi-weekly/periodically to discuss and resolve issues related to Invoice Aging, Payment Queries/disputes, past dues, new service requests etc.
Handling escalated emails from vendors and taking appropriate action on the same.
Review of Old and Pending invoices, prepayments, recons and clearing the same.
Create an easy audit trial while preventing duplicate invoice entries and payments by implementing SOP in process
Handling queries/disputes related to payments/charges, cost allocations, wrong billing, remittances, cost centers etc.
Chasing back with vendor on high priority to get back the Credit.
Parking and posting the JE in SAP FI to hit the cost to Business Cost Centers through ZPARKPOST.
Balancing (Matching the balances between various GLs)
Maintain and update of Accruals and clearing of Accruals.
Updating SOP’s as per business standards and requirements.
