Autonomous Team member

Currently working in the Hotmill as an autonomous team member and acting number three. The acting number three role is to be responsible for the team on a day by day bases in shoring targets are meet and W.I.P levels are maintained and all stoppages are reported.Rolling plate to the right tolerances set by the mill card, checking the quality of plates and recording plate information into the SFR and using cranes within the area for the removal and storage of the plates. Filly committed to the continuous within A block in my role as TPM co-ordinator. As a TPM co-ordinator I run a team of people from the origination to clean, inspect and maintain all equipment.

Mg rover Powertrain ltd

Core shop tool setter

Used various core blowing machines in the low pressure sand cast foundry (LPS) to complete set tasks to produce components for vehicle engine moulds.
Responsible for injection moulds tool setting and changing and assisting the team leaders on there daily tasks.
Assisted all operators daily cleaning schedule
Also being a acting team leader within the foundry being responsible for a team of twelve and all the production needs within the foundry.
Also entering and analysing the O.E.E data.


MG rover - Powertrain

CNC Machinist

Worked on variable valve control (V.V.C) satellite, K4 block expansion line- checking gauging vehicle parts to exacting tolerances accordance to the rest of of the production line. Also being an acting team leader on both of the machine lines. Responsible for the team's deployment and training development, monitoring of quality and stock levels.
Carried out regular maintenance on machine used for special purpose e.g turrets & transfers.
Responsible for Total Preventative Maintenance and statistical process control. My TPM role was the organise daily checks and cleaning of my machine centre reporting any problem to the maintenance department, my SPC daily tasks was to check 1 in 5 parts and plot the finding on the chart setting upper and lower control limits which keeps the machine with in operating tolerances.
Monitored tool changes and usage, offset moves and programming of specific alterations of set tasks. Being totally autonomous on the VVC satellite area.
