Oversees patient records requests for Research Studies for internal and external research organizations. Supervises Patient Amendments requests.
Develops instructions and procedures for staff on non-clinical chart corrections, creates and coordinates career shadowing for Health Information Management students for Directed Practicum.
Gives informational presentations on: Patient Identity, Data Integrity, Patient Amendments and the Remote Access process for Internal departments and external audit and health care organizations.
Collaborates with the Department Manager regarding the organization's strategic growth plan and how implementation impacts EMPI and Data Integrity.
