As the first and only person charged with creating a social media strategy for the upcoming TV show, I developed the strategy from the ground up, including influencers, paid media, capturing backstage content, contesting, sponsored content, and create in-show integrations. Along with my Social Media Coordinator, we managed the day-to-day on Queen Latifah's personal channels as well as channels for the show on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Google + and even a Flipboard magazine. I weekly reported the results of my work to Sony Marketing. With Facebook as our primary target, we grew her profile 1 million to over 7 million followers.
Newsletters, blogging, backstage interviews, and web development advising also fell under my prevue. As I like to say, our team was very "DIY."
