Working as a beauty therapist my main duties included working with clients one to one performing beauty treatments such as nail enhancements, waxing and facials, advising clients on suitable treatments tailored to there needs. Working to health and safety standards. Consulting with clients and providing aftercare. As well as performing beauty treatments I was responsible for accurate record keeping, book-keeping and completed all end of year documentation to inland revenue.

Working as a Payroll Assistant for Fife Council my duties included, inputting newstart and leavers details, amending tax codes, calculating statutory payments, calculating overpayments and underpayments of salaries.
My responsibilities included supervising a team of 3 clerical staff ensuring they implemented payroll changes effectively, I was responsible for running reports and checking any deviances, running the payroll for 12000 staff and ensuring this was done accurately and on time. This position was very fast paced working to strict timescales and guidelines. I enjoyed and thrived on the challenge this position gave me.

Whilst working for Fife Health Board I started out in the supplies department where I was responsible for incoming and out going mail, sending out documents to health providers such as, Dentists, Chemists, Opticians and GP Practices, issuing controller stationary such as GP Prescription Pads to GP Practices. Updating records effectively to ensure Minimum risks. Issuing urgent alerts to health professionals when a serious incident had occurred to minimise risk in the community.

I then took the role of receptionist where I was responsible for greeting visitors, arranging meeting, accommodation, transport and hospitality requirements. This was a very important role being at the focal point of the organisation and welcoming both internal and external bodies.
