System Services and Support engineers must be highly technical, work well under pressure, manage and drive project and initiatives and enjoy working and consulting directly with customers at a deeply technical level.
Daily activities revolve heavily around the technical-side of engineering with NI products including:
Providing start up assistance to ensure successful application development for key customers
Teaching custom training covering topics that are relevant to a customer’s application
Traveling to provide consulting services and advanced support of key customer accounts.
Delivering upgrade assistance for system customers transitioning to newer versions of NI platform.
Driving adoption of NI platforms and ensuring repeat business by helping strategic customers be successful with their technical projects.
Defining and delivering service and support offerings for large key customers.
