Independence National Bank

Financial Services Representative

Am responsible for opening all new deposit accounts, and cross-selling needed financial products. Follow-up with clients is essential, as is promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services, such as mortgage loans. The closing of accounts, and attempts to retain those accounts, is another duty. FSRs are required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, and safe deposit, in order to back the teller line as needed. FSRs must be comfortable discussing and accepting credit applications, maintaining five weekly tracking reports, and providing leadership, training and support.

Sales has become a key duty for FSRs, and responsibilities in that area include cold and warm phone calls.

These part-time jobs included a five year run with USA Baby and nearly two years with Publix. I am happy to provide full details of these jobs if needed.

American Federal Bank

Customer Service Representative

Was in charge of opening and closing accounts of all types, to include Business accounts and IRAs. Job also included cross-selling and handling customer issues, both in person and on the telephone. I assisted the Branch Manager daily by taking loan aps and approving large-amount or unusual checks, helping the head teller as needed, and opening the bank each morning. This job required great attention to detail and organizational skills, so that each account was properly handled, paperwork appropriately completed, and filed in correct department files.

Plantation Federal Savings Bank

Customer Service Representative/Loan Processor

At Plantation Federal, I began as a Receptionist, but was quickly promoted to Teller, and then to CSR. During my third year with Plantation Federal, I was trained as a Consumer Loan Processor. From that time on, I worked as CSR/Consumer Loan Processor. My duties often shifted from day to day, as the bank was small and locally-owned. Some days, I would work as at teller, other days I would train the newest CSR, and still other days, I would work in the loan department to prepare needed documents and close files. Management expected their senior workers to be able to shift with ease.
