Am responsible for opening all new deposit accounts, and cross-selling needed financial products. Follow-up with clients is essential, as is promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services, such as mortgage loans. The closing of accounts, and attempts to retain those accounts, is another duty. FSRs are required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, and safe deposit, in order to back the teller line as needed. FSRs must be comfortable discussing and accepting credit applications, maintaining five weekly tracking reports, and providing leadership, training and support.
Sales has become a key duty for FSRs, and responsibilities in that area include cold and warm phone calls.
