Sightbox
Brand Manager
June 2017 — Present
I manage the Sightbox brand through creative direction, positioning, and research insights.
I am an ex-primatologist, forever scientist, design junkie and data nerd based in Portland, OR. I am drawn to projects that provide innovative solutions to our world's most pressing problems. In my free time I love to travel and play outside with my goofball Golden Retriever, Jasper.
I manage the Sightbox brand through creative direction, positioning, and research insights.
I founded a boutique consulting firm focused on the small business, nonprofit, and early-stage startup space. Areas of operation include strategic management, business plan development, marketing strategy, branding, and creative services.
After graduating with High Honors from the University of Michigan with a dual degree in Biopsychology and Zoology, I completed graduate work at Yale University in Biological Anthropology. During my time at Yale I also completed coursework in the School of Management and the School of Forestry.
I have been honored to serve on the all-female board of the Kasanka Baboon Research Project. KBP conducts world-class research on primate biology and behavior, is a powerful and local force against the poaching of wildlife (including elephants), and runs several community programs to empower women through access to education.
