Disability Resource Coordinator

Implement the strategic approach to the Disability Employment Initiative, and responsible for meeting the outcomes of the project. Work within 9 county Career Centers to identify and address accessibility issues or other barriers preventing individuals with disabilities from fully utilizing Career Center services.
Facilitate the development of Integrated Resource Teams (IRTs) to braid services and funding around an individual customer’s needs. Establish strategies to enhance key partnerships and collaborations to produce more effective and efficient services across multiple systems. Develop customized employment opportunities with area businesses. Assist individuals with disabilities in use of Career Center services and link individuals with disabilities to other appropriate community services as needed. Present information regarding Career Center services to disability service and advocacy organizations, area schools, and individuals with disabilities. Collects and provides information on labor market needs, educational opportunities, employment resources, and support services to customers. Collects, organizes, processes, and maintains written and/or computerized data. Coordinates with project and other center staff to ensure achievement of programmatic objectives. Administer and manage all aspects of the Ticket to Work program, recruitment, collaboration with employers, community partners, and billing Social Security Administration for services performed.
