-Annually reviews and makes recommendations for improvement of organization's policies, procedures & practices.
-Maintains knowledge of and communicates with executive team on industry trends / employment legislation ensuring proper compliance.
-Maintains strategic plan for Human Resources to forecast/ focus on important initiatives
-Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of staff relating to employment / employee relations. Serves as a link between management and employees to aid in resolution of work-related issues.
-Recommends, evaluates / participates in staff development by evaluating training resources to improve structure of learning processes to provide the best tools and practices for internal staff success. Material development and delivery of Leadership based training.
-Streamlines recruiting process utilizing modern tools as well as increased presence on social media to strengthen internal brand and promote company culture.
-Oversight of and advisement on enhancement of new hire on-boarding experience to improve communication, documentation, and materials to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
-Analyzes statistical data to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel practices.
-Maintains records / compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
-Performs difficult staffing duties, including dealing with under-staffing, refereeing disputes, administering disciplinary procedures, and termination when necessary.
-Consults with legal counsel as appropriate on personnel matters & represents organization at personnel-related hearings / investigations.
