Business Analyst - IT Support Business Group at NBAD
Directly reports to Unit Head, SME, Corporate Banking as a Credit Analyst core responsibility includes but not limited to the following:-
Assist the SRM/RMs in handling various customer credit proposals, preparing spreadsheets, financials analysis and credit packages. Also to ensure monitoring and follow up of approved lines, documentation deferrals, facility expiry and maintenance of credit files and other corporate and commercial finance administrative jobs
New Proposals: obtain 3 year financials and other relevant information, spreading, analyzing and preparing credit packages and providing concise recommendations.
Facility Renewal: Obtaining latest financials, spreading, analyzing and preparing & complete packages.
Scrutinizing the sanction advice upon receipt and comparing it with the Credit Application.
Once the Facility Sanction Advice is received, Offer Letter is to be prepared without any delay and ensure dispatching it to the customer for signature.
Prepare facility Offer Letters, Guarantees, Letter of Lien and other related documents for customer's signature. Seek legal assistance in creating mortgage etc.
Lodge securities in connection with the credit facilities and releases securities once financing are settled in full.
Asses and recommend routine transactions relating to LC & LG received from Trade Finance Department for SRM/RM for further review and approval. Prepare excess and deferment reports.
To open proper credit files once the facility is approved. Hand over the original documents for safe custody to Risk Management Department.
Periodic review of accounts to see that the repayments are regular.
Coordinate preparation of the department's proposals/Accounts status to be submitted to RMs.
Act for RMs as alternated (if required in RMs absence) leave relief.

Discussing the reasons in variance with comparing with standards and providing solutions to overcome and rectify the variances if any.
