During my tenure as Director of Strategy Development with BlueGlass, I reported directly to the President, and the VP of Business Development. I also built and managed a 7+ person Strategy Team from the ground up with an 80%+ client renewal rate. My team was a hybrid of Business Development, Reporting, SEO and Strategy Development.

*Worked with clients to create strategies that met their product or brand goals.

*Created strategic blueprints for execution to drive traffic for websites, publications, or mobile/web apps. This included blog strategy, social strategy, content strategy & marketing and outreach.

*Acted as an internal strategic consultant to company divisions, including Outreach & Editorial.

*Interviewed, hired and trained new members/contractors/vendors.

*Involved in the creation of all processes and documentation.

*Managed and contributed to onsite/offsite SEO projects for all clients. SEO audits included architecture/technical, competitive backlinks, keyword research, organic visibility & analytics.

*Individually responsible for ~90% of client consulting, trained team for participation in other ~10%, including severe post-penalty consulting and reconsideration projects.

*Worked with Account Managers to help facilitate their full understanding of strategic goals & planned project execution.

*Created & oversaw reporting team: Viral, content performance, ranking/analytics and quarterly/final account reviews. Worked with Client Services to QA and guarantee delivery of reports.

*Participated in bringing in new accounts, vetting leads, proposal & SOW creation, and renewals. Refined current proposals and SOW language with executive team.

*Tested and identified reporting needs for internal toolsets. Vetted third party tool sets for inclusion to the BlueGlass workflow.

*Performed internal training on industry tools and platforms, including Majestic SEO, Open Site Explorer, Raven Tools, AnalyticsSEO, Authority Labs, Google Analytics, etc.
