Lead a team of Professionals to manage the construction, management and growth of all infrastructure for one of the largest nationwide providers of Ethernet and IP advanced communications, managed network and IT infrastructure services companies in the Country. Responsible for the Design, Power, Architectural, Colocation and Facilities Engineering divisions serving all infrastructure/facilities covering millions of square feet including over 3,500 Point of Presence (POP) sites across 32 markets and over 150 central offices, data/call centers and headquarters for Engineering, Corporate, and Network Operations Centers (NOC). Responsible to Standardize Processes and Procedures; Coordinate with Customers, Sales, Engineering and Operations for colocation efforts; Design and project management of CORE systems such as DC Power, UPS, HVAC, AC Power, Generator, Fire Suppression, Environmental Alarming, Environmental & Safety Compliance, Access Control, Cable Management and Fiber Management; Manage National Preventative Maintenance Contractors for DC Power and Batteries, UPS and Batteries; Evaluate the needs of the network facilities across the nation to ensure augmentation prior to maximizing out existing capacities; Plan and execute both the Capital and Operational Budget for all infrastructure builds; Perform cost feasibility studies; Negotiate contract prices; Serve as National Tier II support for disasters/outages.
