American Heart Association CPR Instructor

Certified instructor for all levels below healthcare provider. Able to teach up to 12 individuals at one time without additional assistance. Each class is organized in such a way that the students are actively engaged while being entertained. Typical classes include basic CPR, AED (automated external defibrillator) and other life safety lessons. First aid classes also available. Previous clients have included church organizations, municipality department heads and associates, and corporate managers and directors.

As part of a desire by the church leadership, I participated in and helped establish a team of volunteer medical professionals whose rotating responsibilities were to respond to medical events on the church campus. With the assistance of others, I helped develop policy and procedures and oversaw operations for 30+ volunteer team. Policies and procedures were crafted to protect the church liability and to preserve the individual's well-being.
