Analyze the impact of proposed changes in utility retail rates on prospective customer savings and the impact of proposed changes on existing customers and markets. This will include the gathering and analysis of competitive and financial data necessary to evaluate alternatives, and may include development of pricing recommendations.
Assess current and projected utility retail rates of residential, commercial, and industrial electricity and gas customers.
Critically analyze utilities’ revenue requirements in integrated resource plans and general rate cases.
Prepare automated tools that model customer savings from electricity production within a complex tariff incorporating time-of-use and capacity elements.
Assists in the performance of root cause analyses on cost categories with significant or unanticipated variations and determine corrective measures
Assist with maintaining the cost of service model and support modifications as required by changes to the utility infrastructure and rate making initiatives.
Prepare rate impact analyses and comparison of rate realizations among utilities.
