- Assisted the MTV Scratch department in the production of multi-platform programming, consumer insights, brand strategy, product development and design

- Helped collect data at the North Hollywood clinic (under Shoptaw’s purview) for Project FLOW, a multi-site investigation of STI/HIV transmission through sexual-risk behaviors and substance abuse
- Co-authored a paper comparing and contrasting behavioral and psychosocial treatments of methamphetamine abuse (now a chapter in "Methamphetamine Addiction: From Basic Science to Treatment," published by Guilford Press in 2009)
