Onondaga Central Jr/Sr High School
Advanced Regents Diploma
During my time at OCS, I accomplished many things. Such as, being a peer tutor to the students and working alongside the faculty involved in the Option Four Program which was the program that catered to students with greater mental and physical limitations. I was the founder of the Health and Wellness Committee, which tackled many issues concerning promoting the health of our student body and school as a whole. One of our main accomplishments was, being able to change our lunch menu and the food options that were made available to our students and faculty to exceed the State and Federal requirements and also reach out to our surrounding schools to help them do the same. I played Soccer at a Varsity Level for four years, and was awarded Most Valuable Player my senior year. I ran for Student Government and won secretary for 3 years. I also took part in Prom Committee, Spanish Club, Year Book Committee, and Track and Field. I also participated in other things in my community while in school. I worked at JCPenney's , played indoor soccer, became a certified life guard, and volunteered. I finished up my high school career with honors and an Advanced Regents Diploma.
