University of Pennsylvania

Bachelors of Science, Bioengineering

At UPenn, I embraced my love for technology and studied bioengineering, the space where technology is influencing and shaping the way medical efforts are developed.

During my senior year, I took a class called Engineering Entrepreneurship where, with my group of five, we developed a business plan and pitched our presentation to panel of mentors at the end of the semester.

It was this class which solidified my interest in new tech ventures and introduced me to the startup world.

Health 2.0

Market Intelligence Intern

As a market intelligence intern at Health 2.0, a conference and health technology innovation company, I had the opportunity to help design a new subscription-based newsletter, draft company profiles for the 2014 Health 2.0 Annual Report, and design charts and graphics for the Annual Fall Conference and Developer Challenges. Here, I solidified my passion for startups, as I was exposed to the many burgeoning startups breaking ground in the healthcare world.

Graphic Designer, Freelance

As a freelance graphic designer, my responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing design; resolving proposals to client’s satisfaction; wireframing UX/UI; and preparing and estimating rates.
