Worked as an Ab Initio ETL Developer and Application Support Engineer to support the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) operations for the Oracle Data Warehouse for SYF Retail Deposit team. The primary responsibility was troubleshooting production issues, fixing defects in the ETL code as well as coordinating with the ETL Development and Business Enablement teams within group.
Experience working with various Ab Initio components such as Dataset components, FBE, Reformat, Rollup, Scan, Join, Sort, Dedup sorted, Partitioning and de-partitioning components, etc and various Ab Initio parallelism techniques.
Scheduling, executing, monitoring and reviewing Autosys jobs for the Ab Initio graphs.
Identifying issues, root cause analysis and fixing the issue encountered in the production environment under time constraints to meet SLA.
