Alstom is a large French multinational conglomerate which holds interests in the power generation and transport markets.

My responsibility as a Lead in tender engineering process:-

Review the customer’s tender documents and specifications( Scope,Technical Specifications, GTP's, Exclusions)
Preparation of technical proposal (includes preparation of prebid queries, tender checklist, technical offer, technical assumptions & exclusions) including preliminary design calculations.
Site visit across Pan India for the extension projects to get acquaint with the customer requirement & preparation of Tecnical data summary during Site visit.
Identifying Risk & oppurtunites during tender stage.
Preparation of SLD, Layout and Section with optimisation (AIS, GIS).
Calculation of bus-bar sizing, battery sizing, Earth-mat Calculation, cable Sizing.
Estimation of BOQ with estimating Conductor material, Cable estimation, Earth-mat estimation.
Participating in Pre-Bid Meeting for Technical Agenda with Customer/Consultant for taking appropriate/optimised way to sort out any technical issue.
Vetting Technical datasheet and GTP for different equipments given by different vendors following customer specification, IEEE, IS and IEC standard
Validating Drawings and Technical Offers following customer specification with most appropriate solution.
Participating in Post Bid Kick of Meeting also for proper handing over of project to execution team after getting order.

Also involved in 400KV SVC(Static Vars Compensator) tenders for PGCIL.

Presently involved in Detailed Engineering.

Project Handled @ ALSTOM:-

1). 66/11KV & 33/11KV AIS Substation, M/s Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.(A Tata Power & Delhi Govt. Joint Venture)

2). 2x40MW Power & Blowing Station at Steel Plant, M/s NMDC Ltd. Ranchi.

1). Construction & Design of 3 Nos. of 33/11KV substation and its associated 33 KV lines on a Turnkey basis under UPCL, Dehradun.
Scope of works:
Preparation of SLD, Overall layout of the 33KV switchyard indicating sizes of all the premises, cable trenches, clearances etc.
Preparation of BOQ for 33/11 KV substations and its associated 33 KV lines.
Preparation of Control and schematics drawings. for control /protection for each equipment .
Earthing calculations as per IS 3043 and IEEE-80 and its layout.
Lightning Calculations & Lightning protection drawing showing coverage of all equipment, structures, buildings etc.
Calculations to prove lux level of illumination for yard area and other areas.
Battery and Battery Charger Sizing Calculations.
Cable sizing calculations & its layout , Cable schedule indicating type of cables, from to via. route, total length size of cable and cable trench layout.
2). Construction & Design of 765/400/33 KV Substation under Power Grid at Jhatikara, Meerut.
Scope of works:
Delta Formation of Tertiary Winding of 3 Nos. of Single Phase, 500 MVA Auto Transformers.
Neutral Formation of Nos. of Single Phase, 500 MVA Auto Transformers.
Preparation of BOQ and its associated Drawings.
