Responsible for Human Resource functions within single big-box retailer of 150 team members and a team of eight managers. Responsible for onboarding seasonal mass hire of 60-80 employees each year and evaluating turnover on continuous basis. Maintain an open door culture where employees are able to discuss concerns or issues at any time. Conducted chat sessions with employees on weekly basis to gauge store culture and follow up with appropriate management as necessary. Review weekly reports and manage action plans accordingly. Organize and manage the annual review process for 140 team members. Coordinated recognition events as appropriate. Assist in delivering guest service and providing follow-up to provide amazing guest satisfaction.
