My current position is with Eurocell PLC. As a area manager I run two depots. I manage 8 members of staff across the two depots.
My main responsibilities are ensuring the smooth running of both depots. Ensuring staff are constantly engaging customers in the full range of Eurocell products. I also look after the top 50 accounts from both depots and am always looking to expand our customer base.
I call on my top 50 customers once a month and task myself with making 5 cold calls a month.
Over my year with Eurocell I have added over 150 new accounts which has bought in an extra £100,000 turnover through both depots. I have also increased my inherited customer base spend by over £70,000 throughout the last 12 months.
On arriving at Eurocell both of the depots were struggling to meet targets and we're struggling to make to profit.
However with my selling skills and customer service skills we have turned it around and are now meeting target every month and profits have increased by 15%.

Retail Sales Solutions

Field sales manager

Working for clients such as Famous Grouse, Jim Beam, Tetley, Highland Spring and Kerry Foods. My main responsibilities were to ensure all planned promotions and promotional space was adhered to in store and to increase this space by building a good relationship with in store managers.
I regularly achieved additional promotional space and finished as the top bonus earner throughout my time with RSS.
Building relationships with key members of staff in all the top 5 supermarket multiples in my region I increased sales and also brand awareness through planning, targeting and building relationships in store.


Ceuta Healthcare Ltd

Pharmacy Business Manager

As I pharmacy business manager I had a customer base of 170 in dependant pharmacies in my region. I worked for Ceuta Healthcare who had a contract with Bayer to manage the sales and supplies of Bayers OTC medicine range.
Selling and managing stock were key to this role.
Regular NPD would mean that I would have to ensure that all of my customers purchased these new lines. In my 3 years with Bayer I successfully rolled out berroca, bepanthan, pro plus and feminax ultra to 100% of pharmacies in my region. This along with regularly achieving very stretching targets was a great achievement in my first field based sales role.
Bayer Healthcare unfortunately decided to terminate the contract in March 2010 due to the tough economic climate.

John Lewis

Senior supervisor

As a john Lewis partner I started out on the small electrical section. Serving and selling all small electrical and kitchenware products.
I took a keen interest in the coffee machines and regularly spent all day selling Nespresso, and other coffee machines.
Towards the end of my time with John Lewis I became interested in manage ten and would look after the part time team that worked evenings and weekends.
During my time with john Lewis I built up great relationships with the in store reps from many different companies. This is what inspired me to become a field sales manager.
