Action Officer

Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing support process development, staffing and implementation enterprise wide for Eglin Air Force Base. Work closely with senior leaders to identify and provide a variety of options to achieve specified objectives to proficiently shape and submit authored information recommendations, that when approved become policy. Interface closely with the 96th Test Wing staff and coordinate with action officers, organizational leaders, and support agencies.

Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL.

First Sergeant

Provide the Commander's of the Air Armament Center, 96 Air Base Wing Staff Agencies, and 96th Comptroller Squadron located at Eglin AFB, FL with a mission ready enlisted force and prepare enlisted personnel for deployments.

Advise the Commanders on a wide range of topics including the health of his airmen and their esprit de corps, discipline, well-being, career progression, and professional development.

Also, oversee training in leadership, customs and courtesies, dress and personal appearance, self-discipline, adherence to standards, drill and ceremony, and safety.

Assist Enlisted personnel to adapt to the military environment and adjust to the organization and manage care and upkeep of unit dormitories and adjacent grounds, and coordinate with supervisors to schedule unit functions, duties, leaves, and passes.

Senior Traveling Broadcast Journalist

Collect and analyze information from newsworthy events through interview, review, investigation, observation, evaluation and isolation of pertinent facts, details and imagery from event aspects. These events will be of direct interest for local, national and international market audiences. Requires decision making such as story emphasis, length, format while organizing material accordingly.

On location: Arrange interviews with people who can provide information about a specific interest topic that support background research related to stories in order to provide a complete and accurate end product. Post production requires that reference cross check reveals no errors-in-fact through thorough review of reference materials ranging from books, news files, or public record to obtain or substantiate relevant facts.

Proficiency in editing frameworks is a must as industry standards require the revision of work to meet editorial approval or to fit time or space requirements to include reviewing copy and correct errors in content, grammar, and punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines.

Develop ideas or material for columns or commentaries by analyzing and interpreting news, current issues, or personal experiences, and be proficient in transmitting news stories and reporting information from remote locations using satellite communication effectively.

Gather special interest pieces that capture the hearts and minds of local nationals that through counter insurgency operations will diminish host country violence and sabotage.

Lastly, support senior leaders with on-time impromptu, efficient and on-location support as needed and requested.
